Before smartphones, Korea ran on the 삐삐. Numeric pager codes were a whole language: 8282 (빨리빨리 — hurry), 1004 (천사 — angel), 486 (사랑해 — I love you). The front print sets the codes in the dot-matrix style of a 1994 pager display. If you know, you know — and in 1994, everyone knew.
