mr.slant started as an archive — digging through public-domain film reels, newsreels, and forgotten footage of Korea between 1945 and 1999. The 다방 coffee houses. The 삐삐 pagers and their number codes. 가요 mixtapes dubbed tape-to-tape. The snack stands, the school uniforms, the neon of 1988.
